What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of physical exercise similar to strength and conditioning focusing on control of movement breath work correct technique and alignment, core strength balance hand-eye coordination. The Pilates method is a great low impact exercise flow of movement which increases both flexibility and strength.


Can Pilates help me lose weight?

Yes, Pilates can help with weight loss goals alongside a healthy diet and increased load of workouts per week. The more active you are the more energy you burn the more weight you lose. Balance is key and it’s important to understand due to the low impact methods such as Pilates, requires patience and consistency, results don’t come overnight but with time and can be very rewarding when consistent.

Do you have to be flexible to do Pilates?

No, Pilates is for absolutely everyone regardless of age or level of experience. There are classes for beginners which can help clients who can’t touch their toes improve all areas of flexibility in the body.

Why are there limited days to buy for classes?

Our Pilates program operates on a weekly basis, booking for classes are renewed weekly, and must be bought before the day passes.
